Layout and placement of elements

One of the time-honored guidelines in web design is to keep the most important elements "above the fold". Originally used to refer to the upper half of a newspaper page, the term came to mean "the part of the page visible without scrolling". (Ref Book: "Above the Fold" by Brian Miller).

It is important to arrange and organize website elements in such a way that visitors naturally gravitate toward the most important elements first.

The goal here is to lead visitors to complete a desired action, in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
